The First Missionary Journey of Paul

In Acts 13th and 14th chapters we can see the first missionary journey of Paul. The first missionary journey of Paul was discussed in detail in our bible study group today.

An outline of the missionary journey of Paul was shared in the beginning of the session using an animated presentation. The final screenshot of the animation is given below.

After the journey sequence was narrated, every one who attended the group study were given the following map in which all the places that Paul and Barnabas visited were inscribed along with the bible verses. This kind of explanation helped everyone to relate to the map along with the bible verses.

Then for focused group study, three groups were formed. Each group were given a practical application bible study questionnaire. Each group discussed on three questions each and they had to present their answers at the end of the bible study. Finally all the three groups together presented their answers to the nine questions.

The reason for having this kind of bible study is to enable everyone to interact in small focused groups. Everyone will get a better understanding of the two chapters and now they have a better idea on how they could apply Acts 13 and Acts 14 in their day to day lives.
